Matrix Audio Designs has introduced the ZS-2e amplified zone splitter. This remarkable device splits one zone into two rooms allowing sources to be shared while providing independant on/off, volume and tone control in these two different rooms. The ZS-2e plugs into any of the zone connection ports on the rear of the MRC-8e or MRC-8.4e where wiring to each zone is connected.

For example, in a master bedroom/ensuite application, each sub-zone has its own keypad and amplifier providing conrol over volume and tone as if they were independent zones on the MRC-8e or MRC-8.4e. Source controls are share so when the master bedroom changes sources the ensuite automatically follows.

As with all Matrix products, the ZS-2e utilizes Speaker Wire Technology, which operates on existing 4-conductor cable or existing speaker wire and is fully supported by a 20-year warranty.
